On Saturday 23 September 2023, Tilly’s 5th birthday was celebrated at a grand Asian banqueting hall without her present - but what if she was actually there? What if all the food served was in fact simple homemade recipes of a third-first generation immigrant Valmiki family in survival mode? What if Mishri is their ancestral food guardian?
